Hey guys I have a question.

I am currently dual booting windows 7 and vista, but while I am in windows 7 I can access and modify Vista's files.

The Vista partition is on a different hard drive. Is this dangerous? If I get a virus on my windows 7 partition, can it skip over to the Vista partition and infect it?

How can I "lock" the vista partition while I am in Windows 7?

    Thanks.

You can use diskpart to hide a partition or drive from the OS.

How to hide hard drives in Windows XP

Or just remove the drive letter assignment for the vista drive in disk management. Same thing as diskpart.
