I am currently running XP PRo and have a disk for Vista Ultimate in the mail. My plan is to create another partition and Dual-boot XP & Vista.

Originally I was going to completely reformat and install both OS's so everything would be clean, but I've invested way too much time getting XP the way I like it. So, I plan on creating a new partition and installing Vista on it.

Just wanted to see if anyone knew of any potential problems, especially since I'd like to try out Ultimate - 64 bit whilst my XP install is only 32.

I appreciate any and all help.

    Thanks!

no gotchas that I can foresee, especially since you are install Vista second.
