    Hi y'all,

I searched already a bit on this forum, also on other forums and the internet as well.. But I couldn't find an awnser.

Just since yesterday I got a new notebook, a Targa 1577 X2, which has a 15.4" display, AMD Turion X2 TL-52 proc and a Geforce Go 7700 GPU, which is all quite nice but, I also have an external monitor connected with DVI and I want to work with a dual screen setup.

Now the problem is that nView, Windows or Ultramon doesn't let me set the external monitor/display as primary, and it's really no option to work with the internal display as primary.

So, if someone got a solution or something like that for this problem, it would be great and appriciated!

I have certainly done it before, but the way I did it might not work for you. What I did was set it so only the external monitory was used (using the Fn keys on my laptop, don't know if your will have the necessary ones), then set the laptop screen to extend my display. Good luck.

I just done that and it worked, but it isn't a dual screen setup right now but rather a one screen setup.

    Thanks for the tip though!

Hm, the nview settings usually let me put the external one as primary..
    Maybe update the forceware drivers?
