    Hi,
I was just wondering if there was anyway to import programs I have installed on Vista over to 7? I have Win7 on a seperate partition on the C drive. At the moment I have had to install the G50vt drivers on the Win7 partition, which I thought was a bit dumb considering there already installed on the Vista partition.
    Thanks for the help.

Most programs will need to be reinstalled.

When you install a program, it will put the usual files in the program files folder, then it will also write entries into the registry, then there is also data in the appdata folder and programdata folder (both hidden). It will just be a lot easier re-installing them.

Ok thanks, but if I re-install them, will it not take up double the disk space? If a program is on Vista program files (x86) and i also install it on win 7, will it not go into program files (x86) on Windows 7 therefore will that take up double space or not?
