I again tried to hook up my laptop to my panasonic CRT HDTV and go a somewhat annoying problem. The first it took long to do it but everything worked. Now, with the new manager on vista sp1 + drivers 174.xx, everything appeared right away & was set at 1920x1080 BUT, the screen was zoomed! Byt that I mean, all I was able to see was a centered screen, (between the programm icons & sidebar to be precise). I tried everthing, single display, clone, dual desktop.....
I was watching a 720p video so it wasn't that bad but I can't watch 1080 content at all!
Also, anyone knows a good h.264 codec? FFSDshow + vlc has some slowdows (performance was set on high performance)
Thanks!

Come on now, an old timer like you should know not to bump a thread until at least 24 hours have passed.
Have you tried using an application that specializes in multiple monitors? Those tend to work much better than any Windows or video card driver software. I'd check out UltraMon. -
>_>
I'll check that tomorrow, thanks
