Ok so I've just installed XP with Vista SP1 already installed so I can dual boot.

But a thought has struck me - To repair the BCD (sorry I forget what it's actually called) do I need an Vista SP1 install disk to do the repair or will a basic Vista install disk do it, i.e. one without SP1 on it.

Because if I do need one with SP1 on it I'm up the creek...

Thanks in advance for any advice on this. :)

You can also do it through BCDEdit commands, if unable to do it though EasyBCD. I don't think it has anything to do with SP1.
