The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Dvd slideshow software?

    A friend of mine wants me to put together a slideshow with pictures that will have to be scanned to my computer. She wants to be able to put the cd or dvd into her dvd player and show a slideshow of the pics. I don't want to buy any software if possible to do this as this would probably be a one time shot here. Any suggestions as how to go about this. I do have ahead Nero 6 but haven't even played with that in yrs.

    Make it with Windows MovieMaker and burn it to a DVD. Simple.
