Easiest and fastest free and paid programs to record sound that you hear from computer hq?
So I just want to record what comes from my computer. Not my typing, not my voice, just whatever comes out of the computer.
And also the choice to choose specific
I've been using bandicam to capture what I see on the internet, now I just want that for sound that is very fast to use.
I know I know audacity could do it. Also could convert bandicam videos into sound but then I woudl lose quality.
Looking for like a one button push or as few as possible. Preferably with a shortcut.

Audacity is pretty straightforward. Set the input to Stereo Mix, hit the record button, hit stop when you no longer wish to record. Then you can either save it in Audacity's own format if you want to add effects and such later, or export to WAV or (if you have the LAME plugin) mp3.

Some laptops don't have stereo mix, or 'what you hear' so you would have to buy hardware to do it. Creative Labs make a little black box that plugs into a usb port that works. I'm sure there are other manufacturers that do it also. Once you have that then Audacity will record the sound.

I tried this. See screenshot. Not working. What do I want to do exactly?
Also I am really just looking for a 1 click record what I hear. Perhaps minus the clicks that I make with my mouse. I just want one click and capture. just like bandicam captures video, just like print screen captures what I see the screen.
Cmon someone has done this. If not a windows program perhaps a chrome app? -
OK do this. Right mouse click on the speaker Icon. Then Left click on 'Recording Devices'. Do you see 'What you Hear' or 'Stereo Mix'? If not then re-read by previous post. There is no other solution. They don't want you to record music so they have disabled this feature in most laptops and probably desktops also. Actually my laptop is 5 years old and I could not record what I heard.

I did that. Then exported as wav. Somehow the sound came out quieter than it was originally. Quality might have changed as well. How do I prevent that?

What program did you use to record the sounds? And what was the sound source? Music, voice? Did you try the windows recorder found in your accessories folder? That should work also.
