    Well hi..

When i try to sell RAM's the first question normal buyers ask 'is my laptop DDR or DDR2' ... i tell them to type 'msinfo32' but it doesnt show..
Due to this most of the time i am unable to sell RAM quickly...

Other than telling each buyer to download CPU-z is there a simpler way to find out if Laptop Is DDR or DDR2

CPU can also help, all of certain lines are 1 or the other. All C2D and TurionX2 are DDR2. And so on.

Tell them to read the manufacturer's spec sheet. The manual's chapter on upgrading the RAM should also specify the required memory type.

The average user has the ability to read I presume (unless they are 3 years old in which case they should not be purchasing stuff online). Thus they can read you the specs from the box, or read the make and model of their computer.

That's all you need to know.

Yes, and if they can't figure out how to use those 2 sites, then maybe they should just not use a computer. :p
