    Hi...

Since I am doing almost everything on my computers, I was wondering if I could use an electronic diary too? It's got to be Windows 7 x64 compatible and it should be - optimally - free.

    Any suggestions?

PS: Using a Word file while possible is not really the solution I am looking for. I also thought about using OneNote. If there are no viable options, maybe I will have use OneNote.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Whatever you end up doing, make sure you do backups regularly, preferably to a remote site or something.

I'm not aware of any good diary-style programs, but a Word document per month inside a TrueCrypt volume seems like it wouldn't be a bad solution.

I suppose I could also use NotePad. I just learnt how to automatically put date stamps etc., which is really quite a nifty thing (since I did not know about it earlier!)

The reason I am trying to avoid Word is because I ususally have a number of Word docs open and it sometimes it can get quite confusing. An independent program could have its own shortcut, and which can hover in the background. This is one of the reasons why OneNote may be an option. But I have been looking at a few options like those linked here.
