Hello, im in a bit tight because im not sure if the rearrangement of my boot sequence thing is complete. the "Tune XP Final" program warned not to reboot until it is completed. but it has been at the same screen for over an hour and i see that the CPU action light is steady.

i discovered the program on this page:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=5787

    I downloaded the program here:
    http://www.download.com/TuneXP/3000-2086_4-10290928.html

    its last read is:

    "Folder Fragmentation
    Total Folders =4,829
    Fragmented Folders =20
    Excess Folder Fragments =56"

I selected "Ultra-Fast Booting(rearrange boot files)" to be performed... anyone have this happen?

im running an ACER Aspire 3620
    1.5ghz celeron M
    512mb RAM
    40 gig HD
    INTEL GMA 900

Did it have any noticeable difference on your boot time?
