    Hi,

I cannot enable hibernate in XP 64 bit. When I type powercfg -h on in cmd, I get this: This system is running in PAE mode, and hibernation is not allowed in PAE mode. I tried adding /nopae to my boot.ini after googling, but I still get the error . Is there a way for me to enable hibernation in XP?
    My boot.ini entry:
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Professional x64 Edition" /fastdetect /noexecute=alwaysoff /nopae

xp 64bit is only a test-os for specific use-cases, not for the general public. and special use cases have no need for hibernate. special usecases may be specific workstation-systems in the industry that run 24/7 and need more than 4gb ram.

it's sad for the ones using that os as their "ordinary" os, but that os isn't ment to be. that's what vista 64 is for. or xp 32.

The following items are preventing hibernation on this system:
The system is running in PAE mode, and hibernation is not allowed in PAE Mode.
