    Hi!

I bought a notebook here in the U.S.

I sent it to Colombia and changed the keyboard language to Spanish.

    Shift + 2 doesn't do the "@" sign anymore.

How in the world can I do it now?

Is there an "ALT+ " number combination for this?

    TIA!

If you've set it to 'Spanish' or 'Spanish variation' it'd be Right-Alt + '2', if you've set it to 'Latin American' it should be Right-Alt + 'Q'. There is also Alt-64.

However, I think it should be easier if you set the layout to U.S. International, so the user can use symbols such as 'ñ' or 'á' and the layout corresponds to the physical layout.

Change the keyboard layout in Control Panel > Regional & Language options to match your keyboard

How come you're asking how to type it when you showed the symbol to us?

He could have easily copied it from some place (like from an email address) or from the character map application .

    Thanks guys!

I posted the message from my 1720 here in the U.s.

The notebook in question was sent to my family in Colombia and we couldn't get the "@" key to work!

I'll let them know of the new ways!

    Thanks for the help everyone!
