    Enhance programs with Nvidia control panel?

    Do the settings in the Nvidia control panel actually enhance programs like windows media center and real player by adding aa and af? Does this actually do something?

    Settings are there for flexibility. You need to play around with the settings and try certain combination to bring out the most of your comp performance. Some apps might like the AA, AF and others, some don't. OpenGL and DirectX apps come into mind.

    Do you know if I would see any difference in video quality if I turn on AA or AF?
    I'm guessing that it would enhance program like Google Earth?

    These 2 settings did not do much for Google Earth on my comp. Open it with OpenGL mode does make a difference
