Ok I am going up a damn wall trying to figure this out. On this brand new computer I am trying to get Games for Windows Live to run and keep bumping up against error Code 8007005. Program is set to run as admin, I uninstalled and reinstalled twice now. What else am I missing?

    "WLID1.0 realm="WindowsLive" , fault= '"0x8015E226", pollicy="MBI_SSL", ver= "6.0.5286.0"

    is the expanded version.

Edit: i can sign in to the same account on my desktop, so I know the servers are up and the account it good.

Wildcat when does the error appear, when you launch the application, when you try to login, or at some other point?

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem. The error message shows up when I try to log in.
It is mighty annoying since I didn't have this problem a moment ago.

All-right, with a bit of jiggery-pokery, I managed to somehow resolve the issue.
@Wildcat11: You need to authorise the following ports:
    Port 88 (UDP)
    Port 3074 (UDP et TCP)
    Port 53 (UDP et TCP)
    Port 80 (TCP)

Those are used by the Xbox360 to connect to the LIVE so it must be the same for Games for windows live.

    Good day !
