    I just bought this new HP laptop that comes preinstalled with Windows Vista Home Premium.

    When I choose to shutdown, I get this message..

    the laptop is new...what to do to get rid of it?

    Uninstall HP Quickplay. If you use it, then download the latest version and then install it again, otherwise don't bother.
