    @Falkentyne @Papusan @Mr. Fox

    I am noticing this error in Event Log:

    The system firmware has changed the processor's memory type range registers (MTRRs) across a sleep state transition (S5)

    I didn't play with any settings with regards to ACPI in the BIOS, anyone has an idea what setting I need to change to stop this error?

    Never seen that before.
    Is that an actual error status or just a warning?

    I was just checking Event Viewer to see if there are any issues that keep recurring and I noticed that

    Check powercfg -energy and powercfg -requests
    Also see if disabling hibernation fixes it. Make sure fast boot is disabled in unhidden power settings in power options
    Seems to be caused by some sort of windows update. I hope you arent using 1809...

    @Falkentyne

    Check my power report bro:

    https://drop.me/Byq51Q

    This seems fishy:

    Platform Power Management Capabilities:pCI Express Active-State Power Management (ASPM) Disabled
    PCI Express Active-State Power Management (ASPM) has been disabled due to a known incompatibility with the hardware in this computer.

    What setting affects that in the BIOS?

    Also do note that I am on the High performance plan on my taptop maybe that's why I get those errors as Windows is complaining that it cannot standby?

    I'm still using 1703. Besides the inability to use modded realtek drivers that blacklisted 7th gen MSI laptops (requires 1709 or newer for the mod), this edition just plain works. And Battlefield 5 runs no problems either. Base 1703, no windows updates, even on my i9 9900K and Gigabyte Aorus Master. Just install shutup 10 and gigabyte (or MSI) device drivers and up up up you go...

    I tried 1709 a week ago on the new desktop build but I was greeted with the "down arrow in tabs" problem that I couldn't fix and I could not be bothered unblocking windows update to find a fix so I reinstalled 1703.

    Try unplugging all accessories from your computer (keyboard - maybe you use something better than the Steelseries :D), mouse, external hard drives, etc.... And see if the errors go away. You play with the fire (New unfinished Beta OS version).

    Btw...

    ASPM is disabled on most vendors laptops. Even my 5 year old reports the same issue and it seems its disabled because some Intel driver versions in RAID mode actually causes disk or data corruption with ASPM enabled You can run this bat file to show hidden powercfg menus in power options https://gist.github.com/Nt-gm79sp/1f8ea2c2869b988e88b4fbc183731693
