I've got Everest right now that I use to check things.. does CPU-Z display more information?
-
CPU-z is only for the processor but I think it has more detail on that than Everest. Doesn't hurt to run both.
-
Everest shows information system wise, however, I do end up using Cpu-Z because it doesn't seem to recognize my hardware
-
No harm in running CPU-Z (if you need to find something out about your system that Everest isn't showing). CPU-Z requires no install, (the thing I like about it
).
As someone mentioned earlier CPU-Z detects CPU, Mobo, Chipset, RAM. Everest is more "system wide" -
i use everest to monitor all my temps..ever since i realized that NHC does not work..still waiting for a new revision...any day now
Everest any different than CPU-Z?
