As stated in the title, does anyone know whether there's an Expose counterpart native in Windows 7?

The reason I ask is I've been able to copy this feature with Switcher. I've configured Left alt+space bar to bring up all my apps in a tile or cluster form.

But the one feature I haven't been able to figure out is the one that minimizes/hides all my windows in an animated fashion toward the top/bottom/sides. Just a few minutes ago, I was doing something else and I did SOMETHING that caused all my windows to animate and hide themselves toward the sides. Screen turned kinda bluish as when I'm using Switcher's main feature.

Anyone know what I'm talking about, or am I speaking a different language?

not native...but there is a very small program called 'switcher'

I pull it up by pressing 'win'+'caps lock'

its very customizable, and you'll love it.

    Link to Switcher program.

Yaw...I already mentioned it in the opening post. What I wanna know is whether there's a way to hide all active windows to the sides as is done in OSX.

Oh, duh. I completely over looked that. I dont understand why you want to do what your asking...press the key command, all your windows are visible, hover over what you want, let go of key command, it pulls to the front. The shake window thing hides all other windows...?

    ...I love it.

As do I. That and the Aero hotkey Window+T are extremely useful for mega-multitasking.

I just want the "bossmode" feature that allows me to minimize all windows in an animated fashion when someone is approaching me and might see what I'm looking at. :D

Nah, I'd rather just keep my e-mails and my reddit surfing private. :)

Have you tried Windows key + D? It should minimize all windows.

Yeah, but the way it does it is rather undramatic and unanimated.

I don't know if you're looking for this.

On the very bottom right corner there's a vertical rectangle on your toolbar. If you hover/press over it you will see your desktop.

Same function can be invoked with Windows key+Space bar
