    Hey Everybody,

I am using my Toshiba Tecra M1 with a docking station and external monitor which is used as extended desktop. Everything works great.
After I finish my work at home, laptop usually goes into hibernate mode. Next morning, I just take off my laptop from docking station and go to work. The problem happens when I turn my laptop on. The resolution always gets changed to something like 1024x768 and also there is no way to pull windows which were on extended desktop other then to do it blindly (I was expecting Windows to move them to primary desktop).
Is it expected behavior? Any idea how to fix it? Any information on this matter would be greately appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

Yeah, Hibernate will often fail if conditions change. I still shut off using Hibernate but if I unplug the TV card for example I'll hit F8 while the image is reloading and choose the 'Delete....and Start Up' option. A lot quicker than 'Please Wait, Windows is saving your settings' during shutdown.

    That's the best solution.

Hibernation remembers your settings, etc - anything in the memory. So, therefore, it will keep the resolution of whatever monitor you were using. I always shut down/restart whenever I am undocking/unplugging a monitor.
