Can it not be done? I'm running out of space because I have a lot of large programs (games, Adobe, etc). It's really a huge inconvenience. I have empty space and I don't need a huge Data partition because I have an external, but I do need the extra room for Program Files. This is why I wish Asus wouldn't send laptops preloaded with partitions :(

Sure. Some (all?) versions of Vista now includes a partition resizer built-in. Go to Disk Manager (right-lick Computer, select Management->Disk Management). You'll have to free up space behind the partition you want to expand, then right-click the volume and select "Extend volume."

Or you can use numerous free and commercial tools, such as the GParted LiveCD (free, my recommendation) or Acronis Disk Director (commercial).
