    Hi all

I've had this old Flatscreen TV for ages and hooked it up to my Laptop via HDMI cable. It functions very well however the edges of all the widows open, when maximized, go over the edge and aren't displayed properly.
I've tried fiddling with the resolution but every one of them still presents the same problem.

    Any thoughts on this?

What you are seeing is called "HDMI Overscan". Sometimes you can do view mode changes on the TV or manual picture adjustments under your TV settings with the remote to possibly try to correct this.
