    you will need some type of Audio Recording software that will let you record what is being processed through your audio engine, recording "what you hear" or the Stereo line. Usually recording software will record whatever your audio driver sets as the Recording device (microphone, line in, stereo mix, etc...).

    Audacity does what the previous poster describes.

    hmm
    im trying to use audacity and it keeps recording the mic only, not sounds from the computer. I'm stumped. I tried changing volumes but it still does the same thing.

    There's a drop-down menu on the top right. Select Wave Out Mix.

    Oh I got it, I went into the Realtek Audio settings and changed the output Stereo volume on, it was muted :)
