This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    You see the question. Was about to use about:config and change parent_directory but found nothing there!

    Good Question JamesD, ^^^ This procedure worked perfectly for me under Ubuntu 12.. I also cleared the old stuff (900 + MB ) and created the new location before I followed Kdawgca's advise

    Thank you! I must have forgotten that I need to manually create the string. I think I just searched this string in the list and it was already there.
