Hey everybody. Right now I am using FF as my primary browser and I was wondering; how is everyone holding up with FF3??
I haven't heard much about it other than that it is new and I'm guessing it is probably more secure and has a slightly different GUI.
So has anybody had any real issues with it yet?? If I switch (which I probably will) do you think there will be any problems getting used to the new interface?
Thanks for any and all comments about FF3. It is all GREATLY appreciated.

Upgrade. It's faster and it looks a little nicer too (in the default setup) IMO. There's no learning curve for users of earlier versions of Firefox.

it's a little diff interface/GUI, but no problem for most users.......
I really like it, even though a couple of my add-ons haven't been updated yet............ -
Fx3 isn't much different than Fx2 except that it's much much faster. The interface is still basically the same. If you're a bookmarks user, you'll also appreciate the new setup, too.
I've been using it since Download Day and it's been fine; no crashes or anything. When you download themes and add-ons, make sure they're compatible with the final version of Fx3. -
It's worked perfectly for me since Beta 3, what i would like to know though, is why you haven't updated yet. Is it because you think the update might cause problems, or may not be good at all? Please tell me if you can, I'd really like that information.

The biggest usability change is the jumbo back button. You should upgrade now.

Ok so I just dled and installed it and so far it seems like FF2 with a difference GUI (slightly)... the only things I've really noticed are the changed forward/back/recently viewed pages...
Is there anything else (besides performance and security) that FF3 provides??
Thanks again for any and all help. -
The address bar can be used as a search for any previous browsing (bookmarks and history). Just type a few letters a list will pop out.

With your current hardware, FF3 will be great, if you have a very old laptop, then I wouldn't recommend it, but this is not the case. One of the biggest difference you will notice is the new URL bar, very different to FF2. At first, I didn't like it, I even started a thread about it. But after a week of usage, I started getting used to it and liking it.

I hate FF3 and it made me move to Opera. FF3 crashed like every 10min >.<

I can't tell anything about security, but my FF3 lags very often, and I don't like it, I'm considering going back to IE.

A few add-ons have not been updated yet, so that's one slight negative. It crashed on me twice within the first week, but it has not done that since. Other than that, it's been lightning quick for me and I have no real complaints. Go ahead and download it if you'd like.
