This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    FF_Protection MFC Appilcation stopped working

    Hi, I just bought an XPS 14 L401x a couple of days ago. I am not sure what happened but after I downloaded some windows update and after it restarted to take effect, I got the error message saying FF_Protection MFC app stopped working. Now nothing is working on my computer. I cannot access event viewer, system restore, or do any recovery. I am not sure what happened and I have no idea what to do to restore this. Please help
