This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Free Media Converter Encoder | SUPER © Audio & Video Converter .. I noticed a recommendation here back in 2008 for this S/W. Does anyone have any input AFA using the latest version as linked or an alternate recommendation. I would prefer personal experiences. Thanks, Josea :thumbsup:
    After reading this SUPER 2013 Build 55 user reviews I am not choosing this Soft-Mal-Ware

    After trying all suggestions I went with FreeMake Video Converter. I was able to do simultaneous Downloads, batch conversion of existing files and there were no tool bars or search engine changes. There was no need to read the manual due to its intuitive design. 100% better than YTD software that I was using. +1 to all who responded!

    thanks for the suggestions gentlemen, I will try out both, I should have added I wanted windows 7/8 capable but you both seen to know that. Right now I am very happy with an older version of YTD Video Downloader - CNET Download.com.. BUT in the free version you can only D/L one at a time and convert one at a time. Also Downloads are throttled by design to less than 1 Mb/s. Also the browser can be closed during D/L and coversion.
