Can you be a little more detailed so that we could assist you? What's the reason you're needing to do a system restore? Do you get any errors when running system restore or does it just not show any available restore points? Are you trying to do it from within windows or booting off the Windows 7 disk and doing a System Restore?

In addition to kais's post.....I had that problem also and was told to use safe mode to try the restore again. I might add that I did not try it but somehow after a reboot the computer worked OK again.

Some anti-virus can block system restore, kaspersky you need to disable self defence mode before you run restore.
