    Can someone please post the software that increases the fan power so I can ditch my cooling fan and just prop up my E1705 with decks of cards.

    Thanks for the help!

    PS. Off topic, but if anyone can tell me how to change my Ipod registered from my old PC to this new laptop along with my itunes with all of the songs? thanks

    You can have multiple iPods with a computer but not multiple computers with an iPod. You'll prolly hafta reformat the pod.

    How do you reformat the ipod? Also, how do I move my itunes library to the new laptop?

    Thanks

    reformat iPod by using ipod updater then click on "restore".

    if u have, "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to iTunes Libary selected" then the u should copy the iTunes music folder in (default place):

    My Documents->My Music->iTunes.

    Copy it, and transfer it to the same folder, and ur done :)

    1. On new laptop hook up the ipod to it
    2. Explore the ipod through windows explorer (enable view of hidden files and search through the 3 or 4 hidden folders)
    3. You can now access all of the songs *they will be in weird folders (like F1 F7 etc)
    4. Copy them to file of choice to store your music in.
    5. Go into itunes and add folder from 4 to library (have itunes copy music into library and manage files for you and it will fix the weird folder problem)
    6. you can delete the weird f7, f1 etc folders once itunes has copied into the itunes folder or you can leave it alone and not have itunes manage

    disconnect ipod and reconnect it'll ask you if you want to change your ipod to new computer and wait for it to update new library and you're done.

    **you may have to have in preferences use ipod as disk** dont remember.
