Is there software that would allow me to speed up my mouse/touchpad? I have it set in control panel to the fastest, but I would like it to go even faster.

    I want faster faster faster................faster.........
    still faster.....

Seriously, I want to be able to move my finger across 75 percent of the touchpad and get the mouse icon to go across the entire screen. Is that asking too much?

I definitely don't want to have to do multiple gestures to get it across the whole screen. (and the option to have the mouse "keep one going" after you lift your finger - I find not to work well for me)....

some touchpads have a application that alloes you to configure your touchpad. In the system tray (opposite the start button), look for a rectagular, grey Icon.

Double click that Icon and Fiddle around with those settings.

You also could go to the Touchpad Manufacturer's website and see if an application such as Mayz mentions exists if you don't already have it installed.

I have the exact same problem on my Asus V6J. The touchpad takes about 2 full strokes to cross the screen. I feel like a slug when using WinXP on it, as Ubuntu has better options for the touchpad, and so my mouse is very, very, very fast.

The standard mouse configuration stuff is at max. The touchpad manufacturer's software is set at max. TweakUI doesn't have anything to increase it more... we need a program for this...

Yeah. It's not really a problem, but for those fo us that "prefer" to have our mouse/touchpad go quicker, there should be a program out there somewhere....

I found none on the web so far! Maybe because what you're asking is too much! :D

I really don't think it's so much, beacuse I imagine quite a few people would use it, and it's a pretty simple thing to develop - I'm not asking for anything complicated!
