Calling everyone using an email client. please choose your favorite email client. you can choose more than one client!

If you can spend a little time.. Please post the reason for your vote of any particular client above(eg. best in security, compatible with imap and pop, etc.).

Man.. i so miss using PINE. Good old text email straight off the console!!! Add a few procmail scripts and say hello to filtered mail! and no spam worries, cuz viruses don't run on in a linux console. :p

But since I don't get console access to my mail servers anymore (don't work for that ISP anymore), I use Thunderbird.

IMO, Outlook & Outlook Express should be unique in the poll.

I use Outlook because it's all I've ever used. What else compares and why? I'm certainly open to trying something else.

I liked thunderbird, but there is alot of function on Outlook that i need. For one, I sync outlook with my pda. And I use the calendar feature all the time. Last time I used thunderbird, I could get either of those to work.

At the moment, I'm all about webmail. I don't want my mail wasting harddrive space and I don't think all of my different mails offer IMAP support, so, for now, I'm sticking to webmail.

I like Thunderbird a lot, but I wish the PDA support would improve. That's the biggest disadvantage for me. But I like T-bird enough that I'm willing to just sync with Palm Desktop rather than having to go back to Outlook. Its definitely worth trying out at least.

I use Outlook on my desktop, because I use the calender there. I like Thunderbird better for e-mail only, and use that on my laptop. I had Eudora at work, don't like it, replaced with Thunderbird.
