If you don't wanna waste your time testing Windows 10 but do want to see and feel how it is, watch this video:
Here's What Windows 10 Looks and Feels Like
`
Important update to the command prompt now you can enable the CTRL + shortcuts in the properties of command prompt so CTRL + V now will actually paste rather than having to right click to paste, you can see that demonstrated towards the end of the video
you will also see some quirks obviously because this is a technical preview but still seems like it was rushed out by Micro$haft

Transparency for the WINDOW but not the TASKBAR?
I do like the multiple desktops though. That is nice and something I can see taking advantage of. -
So why didn't you use multiple desktops for the last decade or so? They have always been available, for free, even pre-installed with probably 80+% of all PCs (comes with your graphics driver suite), or for download, even from Microsoft (part of the SysInternals stuff) and probably about a dozen others, from hobby coders to more fancy outfits.

They have only said about 100 times that this is a TECHNICAL PREVIEW and yes it was rushed because it's still a year from completion and they have SAID that.

It is going to be rough, it seems they actually are rewriting code for features. IMHO metro, while still being here, is not too obtrusive. I would like to see some further ability to limit or even options to ignore.
My main pet peeve is again no Aero Glass but to be honest the no side and bottom border at all I like. Now I am a staunch advocate against Windows 8.x and what M$ did to all us vocal beta testers. I do see this as a step, be it small, forward for the PC community. While they have a LONG way to go I could see myself upgrading too and supporting Windows 10 eventually.
I will not be the one to cut off my nose to spite my face! On the same note I am a firm believer in fool me once and shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!Ferris23 likes this. -
Because sysinternals is clunky and error prone. You can't pin different icons to the taskbar or to the desktop, remove one, it removes them on all desktops. I don't like to use third party apps if I can help it either because support is usually spotty at best. I haven't found one that works well, and refuse to spend $50 for some app to do this.
I'll admit I haven't used a multi desktop app in a while, but none ever worked as seemlessly as they should. Maybe this one won't either. Just nice to have it integrated with the OS.
Feel Windows 10 without installing it
