Hi all, i am currently running Vista Ultimate 32bit and have been trying to get a map to a NAS Drive without any success at all, however my flat mates computer can see it by literally mapping in my computer \\NetworkSpace\myshare. He has got File Sharing and Network Discovery set to "on". On trying to set mine to "on" it doesnt allow me. I can set Network Discovery to "on" however it only permits me to set file sharing as custom and i can't for the life of me change it to "on". Does anyone know what this is preventing me from access my NAS drive and have any solutions, thank you for your time!

Has workstation in services been turned on - set to automatic? If you have done any tweaks, you may have turned it off.
