This is a question for a friend of mine...he wants to know if there's some site where he can upload, say, a .doc file and only have specific people be able to access it...maybe a password or something. I really don't use many file-hosting sites, so I'm at a loss. Any help?

    Thanks in advance.

I haven't seen any sites like that, but has he given though to password protecting the .doc or maybe rarring the .doc with a password?

There's rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire, directupload, among many others. They have really taken off.

Hmm Try 4shared.com or MS Live SkyDrive , AFAIK both can do what OP wanted :D ie., Set rights or credentials which defines who can access the folder / file
