If you had to pick ONE (no third option available), which one?

Both run well under Win7, filezilla has more development activity via sourceforge. My user base doesn't care, the ones that have sftp in place are split 50/50 between the two packages.

I personally prefer WinSCP, but that's mostly just out of habit. It works well for what I want to do, so why change?

both supposedly Win7 compatible, but I've seen some reports of errors with the latest release of WinSCP (4.2.4) on Win7 and because FZ seems to have more development activity going on I'd pick that one.

I'm very partial to Filezilla, that'd be my choice.

Filezilla only because that's what the university suggested and I find its easy to use and works well where I needed it.
(Originally for the maths server, but that's running via dreamweaver no anyway for me)
