There is an interface that I use through work that has documentation accessed through the 'Help' pulldown menu. I tried searching for the document on the hard drive looking for the document's title. It is uses a 'Windows Explorer' interface to show images.

I would just like to read the documentation regarding use of the program without having to be 'logged on' at the workstation.

Is there some way to find the source file for that document by searching through various file folders, 'finding target' or anything else that you can recommend?

    Am I ambiguous enough?

I'm not sure what your question really is but as far as I understand you are trying to find a help file in the HDD. Try looking for file with extensions CHM, that is xxxxxx.chm. The help file of the program you use should be in the same folder as the program. Is this that you are trying to find?
