    Question,

Anyone have problems with their fingerprint reader after coming back from hibernation? Mine says "too short" or something like that over and over again (gets stuck in a loop) and the only way to log back on is with the password. That is no big deal, but once I do that I cannot shutdown as the laptop just hangs. Coming out of sleep it works fine, seems to be only with hibernation.

I googled this and it seems like some people have this problem but I couldn't find a solution.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Mark

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, minus the inability to shut down. Did you figure it out at all?

I had that problem under Vista. It went away when I upgraded to 7 and loaded the new drivers from the HP website.
