If you sell your laptop with fingerprint reader, do you (can you) do anything with your fingerprint record? You can't erase it, though? The buyer gets it?

If your asking past tense...no. You could just remove the program I guess, depends on which reader you have.

Good ?, never thought about it.

I use VISTAKEY and you can delete a fingerprint if you want, believe you also would need to make sure you take the protection off of the programs you have running the program.

    Deleting an Enrolled Fingerprint

    Operating Procedures:

    1. Open System Settings and switch to the Fingerprint Management page.

    2. Place your mouse cursor on an enrolled finger.

    3. Your cursor will appear as a . Click on the finger, and you will be prompted with a message box. Press OK to confirm

According to the EULA the actual fingers need to be part of the ownership transfer of the laptop.

You don't mean the seller should give the buyer his fingers?

lmao! That is harsh, think again before you sell your lappy, it may involve unwanted body parts.
