    Fingerprint reader - no power on?

    Hi People,

    I just saw that I could not log on using the fingerprint option though its been registered well. Then I saw that the "power on" function was not enabled.

    I searched around but nothing that helped this issue.

    Also, I deleted the old prints, made a new fingerprint but still the power on option is not enabled.

    Is it because I have not set fingerprint reader to start with windows startup?

    Can someone please let me know what to do to have fingerpring logon enabled?

    Thanks in advance.

    Btw, I tried changing settings in the fingerprint reader suite settings, but all the options of all the tabs are greyed out. And yes, I am logged in as admin!!!

    offcourse this is non-admin acct so admin user should have those options enabled , check it under system settings

    Thanks mate. I am the admin. There is no other user in my laptop. Still I don't see it?!! :(

    Btw, check it under system settings meaning?

    Ah ok.

    Thats what I checked before, and thats what I see... its all greyed out.

    May be I should have said protector suite settings in my first post. Sorry about that.

    hmm I switched to my admin acct and started the control center . I did see them grayed out like yours then I started the control center using RunAs Admin from the right click context menu and this is what i got

    Ah ok.. Its the same for me. But still I cannot login using the fingerprint?
