    Hi All ,

Could you please suggest where is it better to put the "password bank" of the fingerprint reader : on hard drive or on the finger reader software itself ?

    If so,why ?

    Thanks

I don't know but that is a good question, I want to know if I can create a copy and put it on a thumb drive or an external hard drive.

Why would you like to store it in multiple devices or places? If your HDD need to be reformated, just create another firgerprint sample when the HDD is ready. Anyway, I hope this fingerprint is safe because the same way people steal other personal data they could also remotely steal your fingerprint and that would be even worst than getting your SSN, now they have a real part of you.
