Whenever I try to log into my school's email client on my home laptop, I get that message and I'm not able to load anything. I upgraded to the latest version of firefox but I still keep getting it.

Do you have your password saved? If so I would try to clear the saved password and retype it.
Could caps lock be on when you type the password assuming it is not saved.
Can anyone else you know login?
If this fails try a different browser if U have one installed. Hope this helps, Josea

I tried deleting the password and removing all cookies to the school related site, but now I get a message that says "Can't find panel: Svm_Fv_LoadingPanel."

IE won't work for some reason as well.

This. The problem is that your school's internal network is not accepting your login information. You should contact your school's IT and ask what is up with the login information.
