Is there a difference in resource usage by Firefox when using multiple windows instead of multiple tabs? When I use Firefox with 4+ windows open, the memory usage gets as high as 100mb and it's making my computer so. Any recommendations?

I would think that using tabs as opposed to windows would save some small amount of memory. Don't quote me on it, because it is just a guess.

The answer to this question can be found with the Windows Task Manager. Open some web sites in tabs and note the memory consumption in the Task Manager. Open the same web sites in separate windows and compare the memory consumption to that when you use tabs.
