I just wanted to say that Firefox 2.0.0.9 is out for you guys who don't know. So if you haven't already installed it download it from the link below.

Yep! Just go to post a new thread for it & saw you already posted it
-
I would've posted it earlier but i was very tired and decided to take a nap. I thought someone would already post it by now but then i used search and didn't find a thread.

Really 2.0.0.8.1
-
No, but if you want those bug fixes go ahead.
-
I'll wait for the auto update...
-
It should be on autoupdate right now, it's probably just downloading it right now if you set it to auto download and install.

Well, the release notes for 2.0.0.9. state: This release corrects several problems that were found in the previous release, Firefox 2.0.0.8.
-
i had 3 consecutive chrome registration errors when i updated from 2.0.07-->2.0.0.8...i had it uninstall ff completely and install 2.0.08 from scratch to resolve these issues....however updating to 2.0.0.9 from 2.0.0.8 did not cause any problems
-
Well, Firefox just auto updated.
(I think)
One thing I've noticed lately (maybe longer than that) is that you need to exit Spybot Resident, if you use it, or you'll get a error message saying not all files could be installed. -
Spybot has a resident shield?
-
You can also control your start ups with advanced mode tools. Much easier than doing run msconfig. -
Oh yeah, i forgot. But i really don't want resident shield to get in the way of my p2p client like AVG's resident shield did and it was hard to get out.
-
You can allow the change either temporarily, or set it to remember the change. or you can shut it off completely with a single click.
-
With what? AVG or Spybot?
-
I don't have AVG. I have NOD32
-
Good for you but i'm too cheap for NOD32.
-
when you update your firefox to 2.0.0.9 do you loose all those configuration you originally have in 2.0.0.8 such as PIPELINING AND ALL THAT FUN LITTLE TWEAKS YOU DID?
-
No, you keep all the preferences you had in your extensions and about:config. But as for pipelining i don't suggest it because it slows down the web designers web server.
Firefox 2.0.0.9 is out
