This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Firefox 3 Bookmark woes

    In Firefox 2 I could do a couple of nifty little clickings and all my bookmarked faves would line up alphabetically like obedient and easily scannable soldiers. Folders too. It was magic and I appreciated it even then, because I am not an organised person normally so it was a boon.

    Firefox 3 Bookmarks sucks.

    Please can some kind person map me out the shortest route to restore Firefox 2 Bookmarks into this here Firefox 3. It's not the bookmarks themselves - they're gone - it's the organising of them. I don't want all the brilliant things Firefox 3 Bookmarks can no doubt provide. I just want Firefox 2 Bookmarks back again.

    Uh? What about right clicking and sorting by name?
    I don't want all the brilliant things Firefox 3 Bookmarks can no doubt provide. I just want Firefox 2 Bookmarks back again.
    Reinstall FF2 then.
