Hi People,
I had my firefox upgraded or whatever to 3.0.1, and ever since I have been having problems saving PDF files thats opened in my browser - Infact all the functionality of the PDF files are not working, like resizing the document to fit screen for example, saving the document, moving through the pages, etc. All these are not working from the tool bar icons. But if I move through the pages using the up or down arrow keys, it works.. but not the icons in the tool bars. When I click on any icon all I get is a circle with a slash across it. Also, I can save the pdf documents if I do in firefox, file>save page as>..... But not from the browser pdf directly![]()
I am using Adobe Reader.
Thanks for any help and suggestions people. Cheers.

Use FoxIt Reader instead. It opens them in a separate window, but still it's way faster. Unfortunately I don't know why Adobe isn't working right in your browser...

Yeah that was one option I had but then I just remembered about the pdf download plugin in firefox and I added that. now for a PDF file it downloads/opens automatically in the adobe pdf reader. Anyway this is fine for now I guess. No hassles.
Though on why Adobe isnt working, I dont know.. I am taking a look at the preferences etc., and trying to figure out whats wrong. Else I will try reinstalling adobe reader 9 all over again see if it fixes things up. Will be back. -
Ok, I reinstalled adobe reader (and I am persisting with adobe reader because it has worked well for me ever since I have started using it, which was like so many years back, and also I have acrobat professional, so I prefer sticking with this adobe reader as of now).. So yeah, I reinstalled adobe reader 9, and everything is perfectly fine now. God knows what went wrong before.
