This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Firefox 3.0.3 - Tab Mix Plus & IE Tab not compatible

    Have recently auto-upgraded to FF 3.0.3. Tab Mix Plus and IE Tab do not work anymore. Can't even find IE Tab add-on page in addons.mozilla.org website any longer.

    Does anyone know if there is any substitutes add-on which perform similar functions as these 2, and yet compatible with FF 3.0.3?

    I have been using it since Firefox 2.0 and it did not work when I first moved to Firefox 3.0......the IE tab extension was not compatible......so I waited until it was updated one day....and it worked with the new Firefox 3.0.....still using it right now.....this one should work https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419

    I did try to install both add-ons using the links provided by chen and davidfor, but encountered installation error 203. No luck so far.

    . search & download firefox "nightly tester tool"
    . this will make most, if not all, addons compatible

    Good news. I didn't try the "nightly tester tool" but I learned from another forum that Threatfire might be the cause of the installation problem. So I suspended TF, and finally succeeded in installing the addons. What a relief!
