With the recent complaints I've read about Firefox, I think that I'm going to wait a while to see what people are saying before I download this latest version. The version I'm currently using has no issues whatsoever. I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like I hear more and more complaints about it with each version they release. I don't know, though.

I've not read any valid complaints. And 3.0.6 is fine. In fact, 3.0.7 should be out around March 3rd. -
Yeah, I'm sure I'm just being too cautious. Judging the validity of a complaint is difficult because all you read is the complaint. You have no idea what the user may be doing to cause the problem, so that's why I'm taking the 'wait-and-see' approach. I trust your opinion, as I've learned a lot from your posts, so I'll take a closer look into it tomorrow sometime.

Just downloaded and installed. Seems to be going well so far.

Why wouldn't anyone want to update? I am sure a huge organization like them knows what they are doing.

If updating from V2, V3 will be quite a change. But going from 3.0.x to 3.0.x+1 is usually not. Still, waiting a day or two to ensure there is not a 3.0.x+2 that was unplanned would be the cautious approach. -
I hear you, AKA.

Installed this few days ago. Works fine.

I updated as well. My experience has been that Mozilla does not mess up often, and when they do they rectify it quickly. And anyway, it is only a browser; easy enough to backout as long as one downloads and retains the full install for the current and prior versions (as I do).
