    You should try minefield if you like to stay on the edge of browser tech. For those that didnt know its the NEXT version of firefox, so its further along with beta/features.

    Couple of things I like:

    • New Icon FTW
    • Bookmark Toolbar items are closer, allowing for more items
    • Definitely feels snappier
    • RSS Feeds load faster
    • The Aero effect in W7 looks a lot better

    wow, it feels great and fast on this xp with hdd. much faster.

    i stopped betatesting long ago, looks like i get into the mood again :) want to see the "aero effect" you talk about :)

    It's not really anything added, it's just that Mozilla have made it play nicely with Windows Aero in W7.

    Just been using it for about an hour, and have to say... It's damn fast. Whether it's loading from the Internet or disk cache, the speed has certainly improved.

    I don't use Safari, so I can't really speak for that.

    But against Chrome, it's pretty close tbh. Maybe a bit slower. Then again, If I click a post, it loads within the second, which is fast enough for me :D

    I downloaded it and installed it this morning and it is running very well. I haven't come across any issues, this should be good enough to release as is. :D

    it's very fast on the lintel SSD, too. a definite speed improvement on a slow HDD, and a fast SSD. one happy Dave :)
