Okay firefox has gone bad ever since i upgraded to 3.6.9.

First problem was upgrading itself. Firefox would be closed and yet i would keep getting the message "upgrade failed due to firefox being open" i would click ok and it would just keep looping until i would manually end it through task manager. Ended up uninstalling and installing the fresh 3.6.9 download.

Now, theres a problem with icon corruption on my taskbar and start menu. Every time I will start a fullscreen program, the firefox icon will get changed to that blank white page icon with the little box in the middle. Unpinning/repinning or closing firefox completely is the only way that fixes this.

i cant find anything about the problems on google though, any ideas?

Completely uninstall Firefox and install a fresh copy. I recommend that you use Revo Uninstaller. If that does not work, check your extensions and plugins.

Backup your bookmarks before you do.
