This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Is Direct2D enabled by default in Minefield/Firefox 3.7a? I have it downloaded and everything, and it seems faster, but that may be me mind-gaming myself. Thanks.

    minefield seems to be the best overall, i think, due to d2d

    3.7 scroll is much faster. Now lets just hope that Chrome is getting gpu render support xD

    Given that using D2D in FF requires a specific build, I'm think it's not enabled by default.
